At the January 18, 2017 City Council meeting, staff presented an update on the City's medical marijuana regulatory program. The Council directed staff to clarify and clean up components of Land Use Code (LUC) that regulate medical marijuana. In response to changes in State and local approaches to regulation of medical marijuana, staff has drafted changes to the Land Use Code in an draft ordinance.
Staff will present proposed changes to the Land Use Code at the next regular Planning Commission meeting on May 9, 2017, beginning at 6:00. The Planning Commission will review a strikeout-underline draft ordinance of the proposed changes.
